Reality - whatever that might be - will be very hard to return to! The week on Saroche was far more than I had ever imagined! Between the crew, the boat, the food & wine and the beauty of the country it was all one wonderful dream! Everything was perfect - your kindness and generosity - and indeed humour - completed the fairytale

Your hospitality, the wonderful food & wines, the warm service and the visits to the countryside and towns were all wonderful. This will be a week of great memories. We have found this boat, so carefully created, a true haven with attention given to every loving detail. We thank you for the loving care which you gave to us. The food, the trips, the wine. The tidy staterooms and the humour, never forget the humour, the ingredient which will keep you all in our hearts forever.

Sailing on a barge, down the canals in France. What a dream vacation! And it turned out even better than we could ever have imagined. The weather was perfect and the cruising was wonderful! The crew were more than super-attentive. They each gave us their utmost in personal service in their own area of expertise. They became the sweetest icing on our superlative cake! We can't wait to do this again - with our new "old friends" - thank you so much for such wonderful lasting memories.

Saroche, her crew, her chef & her Captain have again out done themselves. Wonderful food, touring and weather all combined to make for a perfect week. Thank you all again for making our 3rd trip on Saroche superb.

Our week on the Saroche was completely enchanting. I felt like a princess with my personal chef, lady in waiting and royal consort. Everything on the barge was obviously designed for our comfort and enjoyment. The experience of being pampered and catered to for a week is one we will never forget.

You may find a more beautiful barge (but I doubt it) You may find better food & wine (but I seriously doubt it) but this is for sure you will not find a better crew than on Saroche to spend a week cruising the Burgundy Canal ( I have no doubt about it)

We've had a wonderful week. Thanks to your gracious hospitality and dedicated effort to pattern the trip around our personalities (not an easy task). Each of you bought something very special to our vacation. We had lots of good times and laughter that shall linger forever.

A wonderful introduction to the canals of South France. Sete, Montpellier, Aigues Mortes et al. "no barge envy here". Our accommodation was top notch and we have never had better dining. The mix of relaxed yet professional atmosphere is here on Saroche. One of the best holidays.
