The true flavour of France
“France revolves around exquisite food and fine wines - whilst other nations eat to live, France lives to eat!„
One of our specialties is the cuisine on board Saroche.
We are the only barge that offer a choice of menu to our guests. We feel that Food is an integral part of your stay on Saroche and of the whole French experience, so to be able to offer you choices everyday is important to us.
Jody has been a professional chef for more than 20 years and feels that you should be able to have the choice to try specialties and local delicacies if you wish.
You are presented with a menu each morning from which you can individually choose you choice of apetizer and entree for the evening dinner. This allows Jody to provision during the day for the freshest of meats, poultry or fish and seafood.
The menu's are presented in individual folders and at the end of the week you can take this with you as a reminder of all you enjoyed!
You can also let us know beforehand if you have any likes and dislikes and we can cater accordingly, maybe there is something you've always wanted to try so please let us know.
Lunches are often served buffet style, with salads & cold meats, quiches and tarts. We source locally for seasonal produce and offer regional dishes.
